Metropolitan elected and enthroned

During the XIV Provincial Synod in October 2001 in Denver, Colorado, The Most Revd Brother John Charles (Vockler) FODC, was elected and enthroned as the Metropolitan of the Original Province. His election being necessary because of the sad death of Archbishop Cahoon at the beginning of the month.
Brother John Charles, founder and Minister General of the Franciscan Order of the Divine Commassion joined the ACC in January 1994 after a long and distinguised ministry in the Anglican Communion.
